Hello all,
I am looking to build a new PC after last doing it about 6 years ago and pretty much out of touch on what's what of today. I've tried to do lots of reading (especially on these forums) of what is recommended and what works best with what.
I have a budget of around £300 but could possibly push that to £330 - 350. I'm not looking to do a full build of a new PC, I'm mainly looking at a new CPU, motherboard, RAM, and PSU. I would go for a nice graphics card but as I'm at Uni I don't play many games while there and so will wait for that in the summer (am able to borrow a PCI-E card for the time being).
I am set on a Q6600 CPU & a P35 chipset, so in the picture below I think I have all the parts I want, I am just unsure of the motherboard and the RAM if they are compatible, and will that PSU be good enough if in the near future I get something like an 8800GT graphics card?
Final questions, promise, would I get away with just 2GB of memory if I decide to install Vista (most likely Vista Business), or is 4GB recommended and that *B* grade motherboard, I assume nothing is wrong with it.
Any comments/help would be greatly appreciated.

Andy
