Hi all,

I'm going to be purchasing a pre-build from Overclockers soon and am weighing up my choices for a GPU.

I will have a I5 2500k and will be running at 1920x1080, mainly gaming the likes of BF3, Skyrim the usual suspects.

I have a budget of upto £230 max for the GPU and am currently weighing up these 2 as the best choices:

Which would you go for and why?

If there are any better choices for under £230 then please advise.

Thanks

Just noticed this.

The problem with the 448 560 is that it is only £20 cheaper than a GTX 570.

IF you looking at the GTX 560 448, then just get a 570.

Other wise a £200 6950 2Gb would be a nice compromise.

Then again, look at some benchmarks for the 560 448. If it performs similar to a 570, and it has 2Gb of ram and comes in cheaper then it is the better card.

I work it out to be £24 difference between the 448 and 570.

I'm tempted by the 448 due to less power consumption, smaller size and less heat and according to http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/499?vs=306 there is very little difference in performance?

wow that's cheap for a 6970! My only concern is the brand and the review stating the card is super loud.
