I have just taken delivery of a new PC bought from here. It came with a Wifi antenna and my PC will be connected to the router with an ethernet cable. Do I need to connect this antenna and is there any benefit in doing so? I do not connect anything TO the PC by wifi or bluetooth such as speakers or other devices or gadgets. All of our wifi devices, such as tablets and phones connect to the router.

No if your plugging in with a cable turn the wifi off in Windows.
Agreed on turning it off in Windows, I would however also put the antenna for the WiFi on the connector on the motherboard anyway so I know where it is in case I needed it in the future!

Might also be the same antenna that provides Bluetooth if that's a feature of the motherboard.

Edit: I really need to proof read messages FIRST
