Built my new sandy pc today and it's not booting or showing any life. I tried another psu and still nothing, not even a light on the motherboard. I have also tried just one stick of ram...nothing. Is my motherboard faulty?

You got both atx power connectors in?

switched it on at the wall socket? and back of the psu if there is a switch?

double check the front panel connectors?

Agree... get it out of the case to eliminate shorts.
Also re-seat the CPU to check you have a proper contact.

Also as you have the H67... try removing the GPU and using the Integrated Graphics.

Tried all of the above...I have taken the mobo out now. What do I need plugged in to do one final test? Psu, CPU and ram? Need to confirm it isn't working

Thats all you need and it should boot into the BIOS.

Couple of other thoughts, Is the memory in the correct slots and does the PSU work in another system, Try linking pin 13 & 14 on the main ATX connector and have a fan plugged into one of the molex connections.
