Appreciate feedback guyz

Thx

I'd go with a 4870x2, similar performance to the 295 but a lot cheaper, the one on offer this week

You won't need a 1000W PSU to power this rig, unless you plan on sticking in another 295 or 4870x2. You're looking at pulling around 550W max under load, so I'd say a decent 700W+ PSU will be enough.

It'll be one hell of a system when you get finished, all top end stuff there. So long as you get that 920 overclocked it should all run perfectly.

hmmm... I dont overclock... ever... maybe upgrade to the 940? Reason I ask is your quote about overclocking the 920... is it really not good enough for this build? would you recommend the 940 with no overclocking to be a lot better?

I also am thinking of changing the case. The Antec 1200 has had some great reviews for space/cooling etc and its cheaper then the Lian Li although I have always had Coolermaster cases the Antec looks like the best bet.

Thx for help guyz

The 940 isn't worth the extra over the 920. I noticed you had a CPU cooler so thought you would be overclocking, nevermind though. It'll work fine at stock speeds. I'm guessing the PC is going to be used for gaming?

Yeah... but I have always had probs with my PC's lol. Current one keeps rebooting when I click links on internet or while playing cards etc and I had huge memory probs with the asus p5e3 premium board i have atm (wont take more than 2 slots of memory) tried everything. I just thought that if I posted my new build here then ppl may know of any probs with the components etc.

Everything will work well together, you could have saved a bit of money on some of the components, but since you already have them there's no point going down that route. I would consider a less powerful, cheaper PSU though, something like

Both will be more than enough.

As for the case, it's purely personal choice. Everyone has different tastes and both the lian-li and the antec 1200 look good cases (I have the 300 and 900 and very happy with both cases).

One thing though, use this PC for more than just internet and playing cards :p
