new pc

need some advice on a new pc spec;

Hi , I've got £1000 to spend on a new pc & not sure what to buy as I haven't been keeping up todate with technology !

I don't need a TFT , keyboard , mouse or operating system
Would pefer nvidia over ati for the graphics.

If its gaming i would try stick to C2Q, or even a high clockable C2D.

But if your doing more encoding and less graphics based. Then you could probs go i7 with a tiny gfx

I would like it to be a gaming rig , also got a 22" wide screen samsung TFT.
