Hey up mate

Theres a guide in the OCing subforum, which is the 3rd down, been a while since I read it not sure how much info re AMD is in it but its definitely worth a read, give you bit more info, then youre prob best reposting in there with a Thread title along the lines of "Help overclocking 1090T" Im not sure on any settings myself having not clocked an AMD for a few years myself, sorry

Well hello there.

I have a similar config (different HDD; GFX etc but same mobo and CPU).

Firstly, it seems you're only using the stock cooler, so overclocking would most probably be a nono. However...once you have a sufficient air cooling solution I would first go into the BIOS (DEL on startup) and change the CPU multiplier - shown as CPU Ratio to 20.00 (20x) by highlighting the field and using the + key.

After raising the multiplier you'll need to up the voltage core of the processor. I am running my 1090T at 4GHz on 1.4V. You could most probably go lower but I'm lazy and don't want to trial; error over and over. The voltage options are towards the bottom of the first BIOS tab. Change the voltage setting to "Manual" rather than offset and then highlight CPU vcore (cant remember if it's called exactly that: I'm not on my system). Type 1.4 (or whichever voltage you want to start at) and press F10 to exit BIOS and save settings. You could also up the CPU/NB voltage if you have a low CPU vcore voltage.

If you need any help just ask : )

mikkyh thx for your help and i forgot to say that im getting water cooling next week and some more fans for this awesome case then i will ask for your help in tweaking my rig up thx again
