Hello all im new here and new at building/overclocking pc and was wondering if people could tell me weather this is a good starting point for a gaming pc.

Gigabyte GA-H55M-UD2H Intel H55
Intel® Core™ i3-540 Processor
(4M Cache, 3.06 GHz)
2x2gb ocz ddr3 1333ghz
zalman cooler fan
and a midrange 500w power supply

and for now will use onboard graphics but hope to save up and get a ati xfx hd5770.

can you let me know if this is a good spec and will it work.

thanks

yea low budget at the moment as i dont have to much money at teh moment but im being forced to up grade as my graphics card died on me last night

to much im looking to spend £300 but thats to include the at5770 which is £101 on ****** so around £200 for the three parts i need that why i was looking at 1156 as the cpu can be upgraded to i5 or i7 in time when i get more money

yea that basicly it nearly same as what i had been looking at and dont want 775 as that getting old now as well but what is that spec like is it good for gaming at low-mid level

so you would say its good from gaming then? also i wasnt sure on what the number mean on newer nvida cards thats why i was with ati as i know that the higher the number in the serise like the 770 part means its better and how much is the gtx460
