Hi All,

Just got a new machine from overclockers (bundle machine - "Titan Sabre").

However, the machine has blue screened about 20 times today. Installing software seems to be a issue (9 out of 10 times) cause a blue screen, but when you re-install it works fine.

Had an issue with devices not being recognised (supplied internal DVD player, external DVD player) with a digital signature error. Have disabled this check to get around this.

Running Windows 7.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Go into the bios and set it to stock speeds after you save the current settings. If you dont get loads of blue screens after that, it is likely because of an unstable overclock. If this is the case, contact OCuk about it.

What blue screen code do you get?

Since the PC is new, you might as well re-format it and re-install. This will rule out sketchy install or driver issues.

Blue screen codes are either, a 'generic there has been an error', shutting down to protect windows... or something like ???PLOC??? less than or equal error.

I'll try your 'stock speeds' suggestion.

Thanks
