You can probably save over £100 if you build it yourself but then you would not have the OCUK warranty or support. Lots of new tech coming out in the autumn so not a perfect time to upgrade.


P.s. The 240mm AIO I chose is the best on offer but is out of stock so ring up before ordering to check on availability.

Ok so you could buy a 3080 on the cheap and the rest should be fine.

Yes, your cpu is a bottleneck but new AMD and Intel chips are coming so you could wait for them.

There’s also the 4000 series from Nvidia coming.

Do you need a rig now or can you wait?

A 3080 on the cheap would be a great booster.

I can wait tbh this pc plays the games I want any idea when the new parts are coming
 
AMD are having an event on Aug 4th to announce their new AM5 platform and they are expected to be available in sept. Everything will be under an NDA at the moment so the people who do know the release dates cannot say anything.
Nvidia next gen is rumoured to be this year as well but once again lots of rumours about this being delayed due to too may 3000 series cards sitting on shelves that they want to sell first. Also rumours that only the 4090 is going to be released this year with the 4080/4070 in Q1 2023, we just do not know at the moment.

A lot of the new components will have a price premium on them for quite some time so you may not be able to get what you want in your budget. It may help drive down current tech when they are released.

September is the launch date but that's just the sort of written on a piece of paper launch and stock won't be on shelves yet. If you need a new PC or upgrade now, you could do worse. With the market saturated with ex mining parts, it's cheap to get a second hand GPU.

You also won't get thaaaat much performance uplift CPU wise with the new 13th gen. Games these days prefer a better GPU so even a 12400F would be fine for the next 5 years.
