Hi,

Just got PC350s and have a couple of issues, not sure if they are headphones related or drivers.

My soundcard is X-Fi Gamer. I just updated the drivers prior to using the PC350s.

First issue is when I watch movies streaming via browser I get popping sounds. It seems to be more frequent at lower frequences (44000) than higher ones. In games the sound is fine as far as I can tell.

Second issue is when I use the mic mute on the headphones I get a strange sound distortion (sound cuts in and out ~10 times per second).

Edit: System is Win7 64

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Also, on an unrelated note, do you think I should get an amp? I use headphones exlusively and previously used HMD 280 Pro. The HMDs are perfect, but the pads have worn down to the foam and the jacks are proken. I'd love to continue using them if I could refurbish them somewhere...

I made do without an amp with HMD 280s, as the sound seemed good (and to be hones I cant tell too much difference with the PC350s), but after reading some posts here a lot of people seem to want amps with headphones. Is it that much better?
