is that from the USB update ? or all the updates ?Hi guys, don't post here often but I thought I'd just warn anyone installing these that my PC wouldn't boot after Vista had configured them, messed up my USB!
Had use a PS/2 adaptor to try start in safe mode but even that didn't start. Then I booted my Vista disk as if I was doing a new install and went to System Repair, it did a system restore which worked, only for Windows to configure the same 'updates' upon reboot.
Finally I used the Vista disk and did the same System Restore but rather than letting it confiure the updates and screw up again, I sucessfully started in safe mode after the system restore and restored to a point further back before it was due to configure anything.
Hope this doesn't happen to anyone else, thank god I fixed it cos I'm at uni and about to go home for the weekend lol.
