Today is the launch of the new NV5X from Phanteks

This airflow focussed midtower is designed to be super easy to build in whilst maintaining a high end aesthetic. The NV5X is reasonably compact whilst still offering EATX motherboard support and plenty of room for AIO coolers and massive GPUs (430mm Max).

You can install up to 2x 360mm AIO radiators in the NV5X which provides a lot of scope for cooling high end builds, the 360mm radiator mount on the side of the case can only be used when used in conjunction with the vertical GPU bracket.
We have the latest Gen 5 Phanteks VGPU bracket in stock HERE and it is fully compatible with the NV5X

This case takes on design features of the previous NV5 cases whilst including smart storage mounting points, a fully integrated ARGB fan and accent kit as well as a seamless glass joins and tool-less panels.

We have stock in the warehouse right now!

Please note that the fans in this image have been updated on the product listing to reflect the 120mm fans that are actually shipping with this case.

looks smart, seem to have a few phanteks cases coming out. are there more to come (with less RGB) any other brands have anything coming soon

the Phanteks NV5 v2 costs more and has no fans, which i would prefer and add my own black only fans

Phanteks really do have a packed release schedule at the moment. We have some treats on the horizon with the EX5 and EX6 models launching soon also.

For the NV5X, Phanteks pitched this to me as a DIY system builder focused line. Whilst the NV5 V2 is an enthusiast line where the expectation is that the system builder would select a more advanced cooling solution.

the NV5X provides a decent entry level fan configuration and some additional lighting that should hopefully represent a better value option for people who need a case that is ready to go out of the box.

We have a few cases in the release schedule from other brands at the moment but it is rather quiet for new case launches
 
there was an issue with the specification.
essentially the fans in the product images are not the same as the ones shipped in the case.
we are working with Phanteks to resolve.

It was taken off sale until we find a suitable resolution that wont impact our customers.
 
So far I have only had one phanteks case (P400 air or simething like that) about 6 yrs ago. Was impressed and will have phanteks again.

The case fans shipping with the NV5X have been updated on the images to reflect the model we have in stock. :)

it looked like the first image set showed a shroud around the side fans, and now shows an open fan arrangement
 
basically that was the situation.

The original product images were a 360 uniframe fan solution. The case does not ship with this fan format. That image is still on the OP of this thread.

The current product images on the listing has been updated to show the individual 120mm fans that the case actually ships with.
 
usually its for the PSU length without cables.
195mm is the max in this case but I would suggest going for a 150mm standard sized psu to maximise cable routing options.
