New Phenom II PC

Using an ASUS 24" flatscreen, at resolution 1600x1050. Eventually one more screen will be added. Must be able to work with my PX80 (DVI-HDMI cable i guess).
And tyvm, I see your Corsair RAM also runs at a higher speed, I understand the mobo upgrade fully, as it isn't somewhere you would like to save money.

Can you tell me:

What is different between OEM and not OEM?
Why Antec 1200 instead of 300? (This is a place I'd like to save)
Is the Noctua cooler needed for reasonable OC? (nothing extreme at all).
If I "save" what I think is reasonable, I'll save around 297,82, which is a whole lot!
No HDD (got one already)
No Cpu cooler
Antec 1200 switched for Antec 300.

And can anyone tell me what the ca. price will be for shipping to Denmark?
All but case and PSU will be shipped, the costumer service-dude only replied that this site infact do ship, but nothing about prices whatsoever:)
Tyvm in your effort for helping me! Appreciate it!

Edward:

I do prefer Nvidia, mainly 'cause I heard less driverproblems and the fact my 6600 Go served me so well, and still does:D
Anyhow, I would love to make it around 1000, maybe even less = PwNDirects build minus HDD and Cpu cooler and switching case, but.. Is it worth it?

you sorta answered your own questions.

and i'm afriad I have no idea on the shipping price to denmark, try doing a trial run buying something and see if the website will quote you a price.

have you invented a time machine & brought us back to Oct 08!

I take it you missed the big bang :p

no point cutting corners which he will have to fix later on & a 285 with an antec 300 is just wrong

Ok at best they are pretty identicle performance wise but the 4870 is still cheaper. :P

If taking out case and psu gets it in budget then definatly go with that systems.

Holy jesus, took just Antec 1200 and a random fan, 100£ for express delivery!
My friend lives in Leicester (and is loyal forum member) and would be able to ship it to Denmark, could anyone inform me what the price for a standard package costs from UK to DK?

The package would contain: Ram, Motherboard, I7 CPU, GFX card. Rest I have/significantly cheaper from danish sites.

EDIT: At least in Denmark, you can pay a minor fee to get it "insuranced" (would suck badly to lose that HW in the mail!), can anyone inform/provide links with your national shipping company?
We have a government owned one which might make it a bit cheaper, socialists eh:)

Question of the day: OEM - not OEM? :)
Again thank you very much for your help !

What i noticed, and what might be the OEM, is the 1y warranty on OEM, and 3y warranty on retail. Btw, just in general, can retailers see if something has been OC'ed?

If you talking about oem in refernce to the cpu

oem = 1 year warrenty no cpu cooler
Retail = 3 year warrenty with cpu cooler (though its crap)

EVGA GeForce GTX 260 "Core 216 55nm" 896MB GDDR3 TV-Out/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail (896-P3-1255-AR)

Gigabyte EX58-DS4 Intel X58 (Socket 1366) PCI-Express DDR3 Motherboard

Corsair 3GB DDR3 XMS3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz (3x1GB) Triple Channel DDR3 (TR3X3G1600C9)

Corsair TX750W - PSU (internal) - ATX12V

Antec Three Hundred - EU - Tower - ATX - No PSU

Processor - 1 x Intel Core i7 920 / 2.66 GHz - LGA1366 Socket

Ends at 972+20 for DHL.. Danish and oc.co.uk prices combined, a pretty nice price IMO.
I will go with the stock cooler in the start and add one later on if needed.
If anyone knows this case, is one or two extra fans recommended? Don't want it to be a vacuumer nor a sauna.

Cheers and tyvm everyone.

I know this case :P

I personaly didnt like it as although it offered very good cooling
It was very thin when compared to similiar priced coolermaster cases

The two front fans can drop temps by 5-10 c in my experiance any keep fan will do i would suggest 2 of these as there cheap & quiet while still moving a nice ammout of air

Would you elaborate on "similiar priced coolermaster cases"? Coolermaster Cases are 160£ cases at least?
The antec three hundred is actually very cheap compared to how people rated it, appearently.
