New Phenom II's...when?

Well I want to order my parts, but seems like AMD will be releasing new CPUs soon, which will (hopefully) knock prices down.
Anyone have any idea when. Because I've waited since July and I'm becoming quite impatient.

Why didnt you buy the initial Ph II 940?

There will be an AM3 version of that chip, clocked slightly higher and supposingly it will overclock better. No set date yet though.

I think it's a month or two away, they want to allow their customers to clear stock of the AM2+ flagship models first, read an interview where they said so.

AM3 chips are compatible with AM2+ motherboards still, but AM2+ chips arent compatable with AM3 motherboards.

These processor are new as it called "Deneb" 45nm for AM2+/AM3 -- I would wait until 2011 cos AMD will release new 32nm die core "Orochi" and the old IDE interface port will remove and install more new SATA (maybe new SATA-III) - I keep my old AM2 just now until next 2 years.
