New Phone, 4g and calls not working.

Hi guys. I'm just new to the forum and looking some help. I've just upgraded to a Huawei P40 Pro. I've been with 3 for about 6 years and never had a problem..... Until now I suppose.

My phone works fine whilst connected to WiFi (apart from calls) but when I turn my data on the 4g symbol appears but nothing loads. I try to make a call and I get a voice telling me my balance is too low.

I've been on to 3's webchat but they haven't been very helpful. Im hoping someone here has experienced this with a new phone and it's a simple fix.

It literally sounds like you have no credit although I assume you are on contract? That is the strange thing.
If you have a simple pay as you go sim the 4g symbol will show but you won't be able to do anything.

Out of curiosity, how old is the SIM itself? You might need to get it replaced to get 4G working.
