I'm stuck in an 18th month contract with o2, which gives me 1500 free evening minutes, but I find I am calling a lot in the day and thus spending a huge amount of money. I've still got another seven months left, however the last couple of weeks o2 have been phoning me most days informing me that my contract is due to expire soon and have I considered various options. They all seem to think I am on a 12 month contract. As I understand it these are probably 3rd party companies trying to sign me up to a new contract. So what do I do? Currently I pay £20 for my contract, and preferably I'd like to pay about the same for a contract with a huge number of daytime mins as well (crazy I know).

Option 1 is to phone o2 and try and blag their offers they give when you say you want to leave.
Option 2 is to go with someone else.

Also the big question is what phone. I have always had Nokias and I'm just about fed up with them now. Alternatives?

In the past part way into my contract I've been able to alter the tarrif. Phone O2 up and see if you can change to a Tarrif that's more suitable for you. Won't be a new contract just a different Tarrif.
