New phone and internet provider

Hi all, I am thinking about changing and getting Talktalk for our phone line and o2 for our broadband and would like 5to know about ppls experience with these companies.

EDIT: also if i am ordering online for talktalk will they still be able to keep my prev number?

I used to get calls and broadbean through talktalk, and I've never had so much trouble, with the possible exception of tiscali.
Talktalks customer service was atrocious and their adsl was flaky at best.
