New phone help

Yes my people the time has come to change my awful phone. I currently have an N97 which had it's name changed from the phone, to the damn phone, to the bloody phone and to other names I can't repeat on these forums.
So I now need a new one. The top 2 contenders are a Blackberry 9700 Bold or an iPhone 3GS. Anyone got a good view on either one or other models? Your thoughts and opinions are welcome. Please vote above as well! Thanks in advance guys.

aside from a phone, what else are you likely to use it for ?

of the 2 i'd say the blackberry, but this is only based on the fact i have an iphone 3gs and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

This tbh...if its apps etc then id suggest the iphone...same with web browsing...iphone all the way.

But if you want a phone that has great battery life, true multi tasking...along with great email integration then BB is the only way to go...also having a hardware keyboard is another thing to consider unless you get on well with touch screen.

Saying that i have the 9700 since nov last yr and its definitely the best handset/device ive ever used...even after using my bros iphone 3gs for a week.

In fact id suggest the HTC desire as a better handset than the iphone...im getting one hopefully next week and will be using it alongside my 9700.
