Thanks for the good comments :)
Its great to ride but the weather is so crap i dont get out on it as often as i would like :( .
After owning bigger stuff (Vfr/R1) its still fun and more than quick enough with it being naked... Although i find it struggles abit with a pillion .
Will start looking at RSV soon as really fancy a big twin but will keep the hornet as well for messing about on .

Aha, pics working again now.

Very nice indeed mate :) I have never been a fan of the nakedness myself but I suppose it is good to show what powerplant you have under you rather than with my bike where all the gubbins is hidden away :)

Enjoy it, as you say this time of year sucks for getting out there on them but it shouldnt be too long now before things start to get on the up, weather wise :)

I love the Hornet. So much better looking than its rivals, Bandit, SV, Fazer etc.

If your concerned about carrying pillions try it on an Vfr400 :p

What so of stats are we looking on the Hornet? 0 - 60, 0 - 100, top speed??

Ditto. Lose the screen.

Very nice, My uncle has a hornet , Thought about a belly pan ? Really sets them off nice

Regards Skywalker

Disagree. IMO the bike is better without any added plastic.

I have just found a revew on the hornet and its been clocked doing 0-60mph = 3.6s :)

Top speed on the newer ones i'd guess would be about 145mph.

I have to agree with a comment I have just read persil and I was going to say the exact same thing myself actually.

The first thing any Hornet owner should do is take hold of 1 x Steel ruler, 1 x Sharp Stanley knife = CUT OFF!! the excess plastic under the number plate, which is blocking off the view of all that RUBBER!

:)

That screen will really help with motorway or high speed trips, I personally would leave it, it's subtle enough. I'm a belly pan/fairing man, but that does look meaty and street bike-like which is what it's supposed to be, a street bike! I like that high mounted can looks great. :)

I like it! Now get yourself to the bikers meet!!! :D
