Hello. I'm on the hunt for some new pillows as the ones I have now are so worn out that they are close to flat and not giving me much support. I'm generally a side sleeper and like thick pillows that doesn't get too warm and give a good solid support. It has been years since I bought this pair of pillows.
I've stayed a few times at Premier Inn and like their pillows as they are thick and solid but I don't seem to find any contact details to them (except phone number to their booking systems).

Anyone got some suggestions for me? Budget is open at the moment so no set price depending on suggestions.

Down is feathers.

Technically yes, but there is a vast difference between them, especially in pillows and duvets. Down is soft and fluffy and lovely and warming and cooling all in one, feathers are rougher, often have sticky bits in them and are generally just not as nice and squishy.

Do them down pillows last a long time? £150 seems a lot for a pillow, although I guess if it really is super comfy its worth it.

I'm sick of hollow fiber pillows, they dont last more than a month or so before they are flat for me. I use a memory foam pillow as the support layer with a hollow fiber on top. Even the memory foam pillow has flattened, but not quite as bad as hollow fiber.

These seem a bit more reasonable, but are a mix of feathers and 80% down.

I've a Goose down pillow I bought from Soak & Sleep in 2009 (Duvet & Pillow Warehouse as they were known back then) and it's still going strong! I can't remember but I think it's 80% down. I treated myself to a new king size duvet from them the other week too (80% down, 20% feather), they're good quality too and beat all the competition in terms of fill power etc for the price.

Just make sure you buy when they have good discounts on, which is quite often - and presently.

I've got one, and one of the cheaper ones. Both awesome! Infact I'm about to buy a quilt from them.

An 80% Down / 20% feather pillow is often the best option, as the feather gives you a bit more stability and the down the softness. The main problem with down is if you don't like plumping the pillows daily then they will annoy you I reckon.
