New PNR Assertion Failed Meesage

My wife phoned me up today saying my computer is acting weird. She was on the internet then loads of pop ups started apearing all saying the same thing:

New PNR assertion failed!
Assertion failed in file .\source\framekeeper.cpp,functionframeinfo_t:beginparseframe, line 1763

Any idea what this could be?

Are you using Firefox by any chance? If so uninstall it, delete the Mozzila folders located in AppData (you might need to enable show hidden files and folders) then reinstall Firefox again.

Nope, not using FF, I use IE.

I think a full scan with Malwarebytes is in order just in case. Only other information I came across about this error is that it can occur if your running a screen recording application or recording system.
