Well, I off loaded a couple of my FAH rigs to upgrade my main Game rig. Will be operational in a week or so

Basic Bits & Bob's
--> CPU - QX9770
--> MOB - Asus Rampage Formula X48
--> RAM - 4GB OZC Reaper HPC DDR-2 1066 (PC-8500)
--> CAS - Antec 1200 (Love the New Filters They've Added)
--> HDD - 2x 73GB Raptors, 1x 1TB SATA Caviar
--> COL - Asus Triton 79 Special Edition (Looks cool (no pun intended), dont know how it will perform)
--> MON - Asus MK241h 24' 2ms HDMI WS LCD ( You should really check this thing out, it's Sweet !!! )
--> VID - 2x 8800 GTS 512's

With the HDMI Monitor, I'll be able to Run my PS3, Xbox-360 and the Main Game Rig without any coverters, couplers or KVM's, very cool feature !!

Going to LAP the CPU and HS, then run it up on Prime95 for a while, Hammer Memtest a bit and see what I can get the clocks up to without going to H20, then possibly enter this box in the FAH Single Crunching League.

Without naming any names, Mr High Performance (you can probably guess as to whom Im referring), had "Special" deal, but what they failed to disclose was the additional costs of configuration, mandatory maintenance / support agreements and all sorts of little things, which bascially added up to "More" than the hardware itself, go figure !!!

The project is not dead by any means, as I already have the backplane, 1x master & 1x Slave in testing, but it's going to be an uphill battle to pull the remaing nodes in without a battle.

I'm still bench marking my current farm, as I will be selling those, if for no other reason than to refresh the hardware to the latest REV's / Component Selections.
