Hi there Im half way through my system upgrade, next on the list is a new power suppy.
it will need to run either
2x GTX580's or 1x GTX 590 maybe if the prices drop 2x 590s?
3HDDS 1 Optical drive
around 5 fans built in
ive seen loads going up2 £200+ but not sure if that would be an over kill or I will need something that big.
the rest of my components are in my sig.
any thoughts will be appreciated.
also if for eg 1 product is £20 more expensive but lots better id rather have the better product/ performace.

SLI 580 says 850W under load

Although pretty sure someone has them running on a 750W,

Cheapest Option

Modular Version (might be able to go for the 850W)

Or the truly best one is the AX1200

The AX1200 is more likely to manage 2X590's in the future, however not knowing much about them yet I can't really tell you...

AX1200 is also more efficient and just yeah generally epic :D

Uhm, other option I guess would be something from Antec, but don't know too much about their range atm.

Would also suggest one of the Enermax PSU's, but OCUK don't seem to have them in atm...

I agree with going for an AX1200, if you're spending that much on hardware it's worth investing in top PSU, SLi 580s draw 850 but that doesn't allow for OCing which can push the power draw further so I'd want a 1000W + unit personally

Yeah I was looking at the ax1200 looks nice, il stretch to that one Just feels mad! I've no worries going out spending £1000 on 2 graphics cards. But hate laying 200 out for a psu lol. But will get on of those baby's
