I need to get a new PSU for my system and was thinking of getting this Hiper 580W HPU-4M580 SLi Certified ATX2.2 PSU.

The hardware I have got is:
Processor: AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 4200+ 2.20GHz (Socket AM2) Retail
Memory: GeIL 2GB (2x1GB) PC6400C4 800MHz Ultra Low Latency DDR2 Dual Channel Kit
Motherboard: Asrock ALiveSATA2-GLAN (Socket AM2) PCI-Express DDR2
Video: ATI Radeon X1950 Pro 512MB GDDR3 HDTV/Dual DVI (PCI-Express)
HDD: Western Digital Caviar Blue 250GB SATA-II 16MB Cache - OEM
HP rm435i 16x DVD-ROM - IDE
Asus DRW-2014L1 20x DVD±RW IDE Dual Layer Lightscribe ReWriter - IDE

It also has 1 CPU fan, case light and two case fans.

Will that be enough for all that lot?

I'm looking for a *cheapish* (upto £40) PSU for an old AMD X2 PC I want to give to my friend.. But I wouldn't go with Hiper from my experience, I had one a few years back and it lasted about a year then blew up. I've had a corsair since, which are great and reliable.. But a bit on the expensive side.

Why don't you start your own thread?!
