New power supply

Hi, I built a new computer in August. Against this forum's advice my dad decided to get a cheap power supply. It has just blown up and I'm looking for a replacement. I'm using an athlon 635 quad and a 5750 (might upgrade to crossfire later) and would like to keep it modular. I found these two as possible replacements, what do you think?

In Dad's defense, I did promise that if the cheap one crapped out, I'd upgrade it. So this is costing me, not Pete

Why did you promise something like that? Surely you should have made a bet on it, so that you'd come out ahead for being right.
