Hi,

I am looking for a new system to replace my current Dell Precision which was new in early 2009 (looking at the system specs it is Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 2.83Ghz, 8gb RAM).

I want it to run multiple windows and power 4 x 24 inch screens (these I already have with the Dell). I want it to be as quiet as possible.

I will be using this machine to trade the financial markets so will have lots of chart windows open at one time. I might upgrade to 4k monitors in the future so it has to be capable of running those.

I have been looking at the Renda series by Overclockers - is this overkill for what I want to do?

Thank you :-)

Which one are you looking at?

You don't really need an Nvidia Quadro, or AMD FirePro for trading but a cheap quadro may support more screens than a cheap consumer graphics card.

Sorry, I put it in the subject line. Around £2k excluding the monitors. Less if possible, but I would like to keep it under that. Thanks.

If I could recommend something, which i think would be massively useful for you, Ultrawide monitors. Trust me.
Get a good GPU with plenty of Display connectors, grab 4-6 of these, Financial trading heaven!

You should get some really good memory (16gb ddr4) as my dad trades stocks at times and his computer can't handle it very well but his memory is only 4gb 1333mhz lol
