Typical! Just after I splurge on the Intel 520, this gets reduced to even less - for what is a better drive IMHO. Not the same "headline" speeds as Sandforce drives, but better handling of non-compressible data (ie most of the OS) and very good in "real-world" tests.

Since my Intel 520 has been experiencing the F4 BSOD issue, I wish I'd stuck to my original plans and bought one of these (or maybe the Samsung 830). Possibly as good/better than the MaxIOPS, although I'd get a Corsair over OCZ every time, Sandforce or not. Now that I realise Intel aren't as "bullet-proof" as all the hype, I'd go for Corsair/Samsung instead (if I could :().
