As above really. I bought a primo mobile Laptop for my sister from OCUK as soon as they came out but only recently got round to trying a DVD on it. However much to her dismay it refuses to play DVD's :(

Have tried numerous different players, drivers, codecs everything i can think of but still every time i try to play a DVD in Media Player i get the same error message.

"Windows media player cannot play DVD video. You might need to adjust your Windows Display settings. Open display settings in Control Panel, and then try lowering your screen resolution and or colour quality settings"

Now one of the main reasons this was bought was so she could take it to Uni and use it to watch DVD's on etc. Obviously this is a bit of an issue and im stumped. I have tried what it suggested about lowering resolution etc but still to no avail.

Anyone who has one of these able to point me in the right direction or has come across similar problem?

Im using vista which should play them straight away but doesnt. I have tried ther latest codec pack and x64 components and even a full re-install now.

Cant seem to get it to work :(

Gave up with it in the end after trying numerous codecs and drivers I decided to do a full re-install with a spare copy of vista x32 I had lying around. Now although it only shows 3 of the 4gb installed it played DVDs straight away.

It took me 15 hours to download the drivers from clevo website only to find they would not work. Any chance of OCUK hosting a copy of the newest drivers for their systems as the transfer speeds from clevo were awful!
