Was lookin for a new printer after the old one died.
It's only really going tobe used for letters/CVs and stuff not really for photos and such so Im thinking it may be a good idea to try out a laser printer.

Im looking for a decent printer where the toners dont cost the earth, Ive had Brother and samsung suggested so far.

Any reccomendations?

I am willing to use inkjet tho as long as theres decent compatibles available at a reasonable price, never had any trouble with compatibles on previous printers.

Looks like a decent little printer for the price (50inc)
But the toner costs.... cheaper to buy a new printer from what I can gather :(

Im wondering if a toner is gonna last longer than say an inkjet and a few sets of compatibles.

what current inkjet printers are available at a decent price keeping compatible cartridges in mind? Last pinter was an epson never had any trouble with compatibles. The epsons Ive been looking at at the moment seem to not have compatobles available.

Whats hp's like with compatibles are they picky?

I have the Samsung ML2010, amazing little printer and only cost £40. There is a new version of it out, think it may be the 2240.

Refill kits are cheap and relatively easy to use and give just as good quality.

I cant stand how inkjets block if not used for a while which is why I went for laser.
