lost on a big planet.
My Epson has finally clogged so i'm after a new printer/scanner, been looking at the Canon PIXMA MP630 and MP620.

Anyone know which is the better of the two, or any better printer out there in the same price bracket?

The only differance that i can find is that the 620 is networkable.

Canon are annoying in the way they seem to bring new versions of current printers out that are very similar and give them a slightly different model name. Perhaps one's an older model?

I did think that when i first looked at them, checking the canon website shows both of them as new.

My Canon MP160 broke just outside of warranty. The cause? One snapped plastic "gear" inside the paper loading mechanism. Since there are no aftermarket spares, I had to ditch the entire machine.

Bought a Samsung laser printer to replace it, was under 50 notes and print speed is around 20 ppm (far better than the age I used to wait for inkjets to finish a long document).
