Hi lads.

Was looking to buy a new printer for around £30 - £40.

I am buying it for university and it will be only be used for general printing and stuff. Must be All-in-one as well so able to print, scan and copy.

Chears.
Tom.

Canon PIXMA MP190 - if you shop around you may get it under £40.

The other option is getting a better quality one second hand but bear in mind that ink cartridges are expensive - they may not be supplied as part of the sale.

You might want to consider just getting a printer, for that money, and use the uni facilities for scanning info to a usb stick.

The ink cartridges are expensive on the Canon PIXMA MP190?

After a quick google: depending on cartridge capacity and whether you buy originals or refills:

Black: £10 - £20

Tri-colour: £17 - £23

Most ink cartridges are pricey though aren't they. Especialy if they are manufactured by the printer company, i.e canons own?
