So been looking around a little and monitors aren't my strong point, IPS is prefable but i'm not sure as to which specs are to be most meaning full.

Would quite like a new monitor, i plan to keep this one for many year and combined with the fact it's to be a quality monitor i'm not so much asking for a the cheapest option that ticks all the boxes, rather which ever seems to do the best job.

it will be used for rendering and editing so color accuracy is my main concern, things such as resolution arn't much of a bother, but i'm also curious about UHD and also 21:9, i can't really seem to find many good reviews on monitors, most just seem to be a basic overview.

Thanks for advice and recommendations in advance.

Sorry, i must have missed those usefull links, i don't recall seeing them when i looked last the other day, had to give up a read on some of it.

to answer your questions yes, Adobe RGB pretty much required and 10bit is definitely preferable (although i can work around if not)

If it helps narrow the choice i'd do some gaming on this as well, but how well it handles gaming is just a plus, isn't necessary.

From what i can tell OCUK doesn't really seem to stock those brands :/ looked up their websites.

Thoughts on :

EIZO CX271
NEC PA272W
NEC EA244UHD
NEC PA322UHD
?

Also as much as these monitors look well, is this really the price to pay for such high end monitors? was almost expecting to see some UHD's crop in at £1200ish and 1440p's at £600 XD

Yes, good point.

I'll hold out on the monitor upgrade a couple of weeks so i can get one of those better ones in, they do look worth it, if not i'll fall back onto the Dell U2713H or equil.

thanks a lot for your help, means a lot :)
