Im fairly new and im looking for a processor and mother board to hold 4gb DDR2 ram and is core 2 duo. dont want t spend a lot of money though.

How would i go about getting a quote from OC?

Also what is the difference between 32bit and 64 bit?

Thanx all

A quote?

Just click the OcUK image in the top left of your screen and you're on the shop webpage. Select the hardware you want and go to the checkout. No quotes required :)

If you want 4gb of RAM (certainly not an unreasonable amount nowadays) you'll have to go with a 64bit operating system, as a 32bit operating system won't recognise that much RAM. XP and Vista both come in 64-bit flavours.

Just select the hardware from the shop page, go to the checkout and this will tell you the total cost inc shipping and VAT.

As for the OS, a 64bit OS will allow you to usee a greater capacity of addressable memory

edit - to slow!
