new processors and motherboards...

i know this is the wrong place to post this question really but you guys seem friendly,

just wondering, with all the new processors that are supposed to be out later in the year, will they require new motherboards?

last time i upgraded my rig i missed out on the conroe boards by about a week or so, dont want that to happen again.

If they use the same socket as existing cpus then its possible that new ones will be supported with a bios update
