Thanks for the confirmation, I will double check on my PSU tonight to see if I have the XP2 verison. If not i'll have a excuse to upgrade :p

Then you win either way - no matter what the answer will be! :D

Good news! It looks like mines is a SS-860XP2, So ill should be ordering a Red and Black kit for my X99 build.

So will any of the SE kits fit then? :D

all our SE-Series kits are compatible with XP2 - RED/BLACK is an excellent choice!

Ok, I'm all plugged in after a case transfer (woohoo!)

Before (case = Fractal Design R4) (its in a slight state of undress as I forgot to take a before picture...but ribbon cables, yuck!)

After (Phanteks Enthoo Luxe)

More room to work with in the Luxe, you're not getting a cable management pic though as I need to make some alterations in a few weeks with a few more additions.

Cablemods cables:
The Good
Packaging was of a very high quality so it made sense for the product to be likewise. And I was not disappointed.
Very flexible to work with and everything was the right length with some excess. So much better than Corsairs ribbons (Yes, I hate ribbon cables)
Colour is good and finish is fantastic. No problem with power supply either, just slotted straight in. I can't really add anything else as they speak for themselves.

The Bad
I would like to see cable combs come with this product, just the 24pin, 8 pin CPU and GFX would do and they are certainly cheap enough.
Cable marking would be handy (Corsair has PCI-E or CPU marked on theirs) as once again (I really don't know how I manage it) I put the wrong cable into the 8pin mobo slot and scratched my head as to why my system wouldn't boot. You'd think the double clip would give it away
Maybe a choice of cables too, I have a half a box left as I don't need them all and it seem a shame for them to go into storage.

The Ugly
That Beige Noctua fan. Noctua are fan-tastic at what they do and they are very distinct. This build will be watercooled as soon as I can make it happen though (next month).

Overall 9/10. Great product
(now where's my free stuff?)

Got my set last week, Only just had time yesterday to put my build together (Upgraded and added a few other things along with the cables).

Here's a before shot of the rig CableMod'less :D

Even Worse:

and here's a picture with them:

Like what was said above when you get the combs sorted it would be great to include a couple in the CableMod sets, You've probably heard this a lot on every website you've posted about them on but it really would.

I didn't personally have an issue with the connectors not being labeled, The Molex (Perif) connections can be used in the SATA connections anyway but I could see it being an issue for some. I don't think you should label them on the connector itself as it would not look good IMO, but maybe on the plastic packing holding each cable.

^ That would be good. My PSU is hidden so if they were labelled that end I obviously wouldn't have a problem. Tags on the cable maybe. Its not a major thing though, just some people (me) get over-excited by new shiny stuff and jam it all together in their rush of euphoria and miss quite obvious details.

Like the build Razor, the white cables make a huge difference

Thanks for the great review - will bring your feedback up in the next product meeting. In regards to the combs you will see an announcement very soon! :)

we will probably put labels on the plastic bags or find another way.

Great. Didn't even think about colour options.
Green, Black or Clear? Decisions.......

Where and when can i get them and what will it cost me?

There will be launched in all kinds of colors - we will provide more information such as the cost and what sizes we have very soon!

CableMod C-Series HXi Review

Firstly, apologises for the quality of my pictures, the iPhone 6 camera is shocking!! I have tried to spruce them up a bit in PhotoBucket….

Secondly, this is my first ever review on anything to an audience so apologises if it isn’t great..

Well anyway, the time has come and I finally have cables that fit my PSU after ordering Seasonic cables to find out I had the pre 2014 model :(. So firstly out with the old (Seasonic) and in with the new (Corsair) 

Computer before

Will start with the PC as it was with the Seasonic PSU and cable set up and how it looked.

Never seems how I try to zip tie, or put the cables, they always seemed to look messy. I hate cables!!

CableMod

The cables come in a smart box which isn’t cluttered, it’s presentable and tidy. The sack the cables come in inside again, is a nice touch and has some quality about it. So a tick in the box for this. Each cable run is individually packaged keeping things tidy.

Installation

Always hate cable management, running cables, tidying cables, everything to do with them. Thankfully my case is so big, with so little in it I have some room to move. It looks so empty but that was the plan when buying it as it gives me some room for when I finally dip my toes into water-cooling.

Cables connections were a perfect fit, and all were a good length. The only one that was a tad short was the sata cables with two stata connections. Couldn’t quite reach my two drives near the top of my case so had to use a the sata cable with four connections instead.

Anyway enough talking and some pictures are below….

(Quality photo as stated.. not)

(Ahhh last time using this card, getting a step up from EVGA to the new 970 FTW+, STOKED!!!)

(Again another crap quality picture)

Finally the last picture with everything switched on, the lights off and the GREEN MACHINE!!!

Final thoughts

PROS:

 Well made
 Professional packaging and presentation
 Good cable lengths for pretty much all cables
 Colour is fantastic and really smart
 Perfect fit with plenty of cables for all connection types

CONS:

 SATA cable with two connections was a tad short for my bay drives
 Cable combs would be nice, yes I know these are coming 
 Markings on cables would be nice touch

My Overall feeling is positive and what a great product.

Overall score is 9/10
