This 2.1 multimedia system by Edifier is comprised of two wooden enclosed satellites and a 61/2 inch sub-woofer all supported by an independent amplifier with controls for power, bass, treble, input and volume. The HCS2320 incorporates the patented technology, Edifier Intelligent Distortion Control, a microprocessor that reduces distortion at loud volumes, which allows listeners to crank up the volume without any risk of output overload. Connect to an array of host devices using the 3.5 mm to dual RCA connector cable or auxiliary input, while controlling your audio output via the wireless remote.

Ive just ordered 1 of these, and Ive just realise that theres no power button, only a mute button.. But I have checked on other sites and the mute button becomes is a standby button???

This is a pic of the amplifier from your site......

This is the same speaker system, but as you can see, the mute button becomes a standby button..........

I want the standby one..........

Its odd isnt it, plus if you turn it off from the back of the amplifier it looses the bass and treble settings and that would drive me mad.

I received the speakers today, but mine has the mute button not the standby But the mute button puts it on standby anyhow, so no probs, yey

Tempting to buy the speakers as I haven't any as of yet! I'll read up on some more reviews first though.

The main prob Ive found out about these speakers is that the subwoofer isnt active, its just got a phono lead running to the control panel/amp, so you need the bass up high on the control panel/amp to get the sub going. But other then that there good speakers.

I just checked to see how much power it uses in mute/standby mode and it uses 1watt. When its turned on without a signal, it uses 5watts
