they are not quite as loud as the 1600rt but the sound quality is pretty good.

The NFC works incredibly well I will have some more photos up soon being at work I don't really have a chance to crank them up and give them the abuse they need to compare them to the 1600t that I am very familiar with.

I will try and get them in black :D

Just a quick question - I can find no mention of a headphone jack point, do the white 20W's have this?

when you say headphone jack do you mean to plug into the speakers? they have jack to rca (soundcard to speaker and wireless connectivity.

I have tested the H50 BT in use with a Maximus V formula via BT with no issue, and see no reason why others wouldnt do so too.

The wireless connection is good (not through concrete walls though), the connection is open working on a last paired basis. This could be annoying if you have friends who find this out and decide to play their latest favourite death metal track via phone unexpectedly but should not be an issue at all otherwise.

didn't try that are you saying someone else can interrupt the bluetooth pairing? or does it default to a blue tooth pairing if someone attempts?

Can say I'm very impressed with the speakers. The H50 are a good rival to the Edifier 1600RT. Trying to source the H30 in Black they aren't avail yet but as soon as they are I think I will take a pair for my living room.

They have a built in amplifier I would assume it continues to try and amplify nothing if you leave them on.
