New product release schedules?

Is there a set period each year when 'Monitor Manufactures' release new products, or does it vary, company to company?

It varies, and there are always delays. Monitor tech moves at a pretty slow pace. TFT have a good article on the roadmap of upcoming panels/monitors... www.tftcentral.co.uk/articles/high_refresh_rate.htm

do we have any idea on what the upcoming 43" 4k 144HZ monitor is, it says August 2018

Just as the 27" ones were, I suspect that will be delayed as I've seen and heard nothing on that.

Unfortunately O/C didn't have the monitor i initially wanted, finally chose a ''Dell Alienware AW3418HW 2560x1080p 34 Curved Monitor '' for £599 including delivery. My 1080ti Strix should cope nicely with a bit of headroom to spare. The 'VA' panels were tempting, some rockin 200htz at 2560x1080p, but i stuck with IPS, i know i could have gone 2560x1440p, but the Dell is a nice middle ground. PS: estimated delivery end of Aug...Oh well.
