new prototype meta headsets

Personally for me I like the fact that everything is a fixed focal distance in VR, as I have presbyopia (age related long sight). This means I can actually read stuff in VR I can't read without special glasses in real life, and I can read stuff at a distance without having to swap glasses or varifiocals.

In theory, surely they can adjust the focusing according to anyones needs? Just plug in your prescription etc and it adapts?
