So i got resistance FOM... First impression were, not bad... didn't have the wow factor of COD4... and it does seem to be getting slightly repetitive (stuck in the middle of a battle and shoot, run, shoot, run etc... No clear objective) Haven't had a chance to get online yet but will do 2nyt...
Im up to the Manchester level at the minute just after the cathedral, so far not overly impressed but not regretting the buy... yet...

As a newbie you should at least be trying to make a semi-useful contribution. Unfortunately I fear it's already too late for you.
RFOM is awesome , still not completed it but its worth buying. as for other games.. i always suggest devil may cry 4. is it just me or do i overate this game?

It's a good button basher. Well, if you have zero technique like me but i'd say It's only worth a rental. Uncharted and Ratchet get my vote

R:FoM is a great little game in my book, the single player was longer than I expected 
The multiplayer is very enjoyable, and has a good rank system (Major for me)
I'd still pick COD4 and Drake's ahead of it though.

Exactly how I felt, I thought it was rubbish in Single Player.
Multiplayer however is brilliant - I wish I'd never gotten rid of it so that I could play it again.
