New PSPs still suffering from bad pixels?

My Mum's just bought a new PSP, and the first turn on showed a bright pink pixel bang in the middle of the screen. Now both of mine I've had in the past had a couple of dodgy ones, but nothing like this. That's going back tomorrow. The thing that worries me is I've bought a US silver one for the missus. Hope that's not the same ! :lease:

Not really no. Wanted to know if this was just one of those things, or if it's still rife.

It's not as bad as it was with the new slim and lite, they are using better quality screens but some do get through but returns instore are a lot lower than on the fat model

Got it replaced today and the new ones perfect. All's good.

I have one dead pixel on my slim and lite. Well it seems only the red component of it works anyway. But since it's near the corner I'm not too bothered by it.
