New PSU - £100

Hi,

Follow up from my thread earlier today. I need a new PSU, I have £100 to spend.

What would you recommend?

Seems to be what most would opt for, any other suggestions?

I only game with a single graphics card, but would like the extra power incase I crossfire.

Depends what your current or future planned setup is, an 850w is massive overkill for any single card. Unless you have a GTX580 and are definately going SLi in the future. Then the 850w would be fine

Agreed, this would save £40 - http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-166-CM&groupid=701&catid=123&subcat=1103 - and power every single GPU card.

Thanks for the replys!

However, before I actually dish money out, does anyone have any experience with Corsairs warranty? I've sent my Corsair CX600 away for repair as it's been confirmed broken.

Will they send me a credit note? Will they give me back the same unit brand new? Or will they give me my old one back repaired?
