Kinda read about, that you may need a psu with enough vol before ocing your cpu.
And I've recently upgraded to an gtx 980 OC, from a 760, unsure if I'd need a better psu.
I have a I7 4770K, which Im planning to oc to get the most out of.

I run on a Antec High Current Gamer 520W '80 Plus Bronze' Power Supply, although would be a nice excuse to go for a quieter modular psu. Do I need a new psu for when i oc?

Well the PSU will be ok
But with a bigger load it will heat up and make more noise
Realiticly 350-400w will be your power draw
Depends on how aggressive your OC is and other hardware in your pc

ahh I see, will be a while, but trying to find a guide for my motherboard bios

will be more than enough for your system.

if you got the upgrade itch tho go for something by seasonic or with seasonic as the OEM

I was talking about the CS psu, which i should have said in my post as thats what a lot of people pick .

But out of them 3 psu i pick the superflower then the g2.

That I would agree. For the small price difference between the CS650 and RM650x, it's a no brainer, RMx is evidently the better option.
