Hi all,

Well I've put together my existing rig with my new Prodigy & Asus P8Z77-I tonight and just noticed that my trust XFX 650W PSU won't fit in it! It's currently sticking out by a god 3cm's :(

So I am in need of a new PSU that is shorter and will fit into my Prodigy case, I've had a quick look around but I've noticed that the Silverstone Strider Plus 500W seems to be a popular choice on here, could anyone give me a bit of feedback on Silverstone as I've never had one of their PSU's before or possibly recommend me another PSU that will fit into my Prodigy? I think I can probably get away with a 500W spec one as I only need it to power my 2500K, Radeon 7950, SDD & HDD, DVD-RW & 2 case fans.

Thanks all - Liam

I very nearly went with that one but in the end I opted and just ordered the 600W version (SST-ST60F-PS, not available on OcUK unfortunately) as I was a bit concerned that 500W wouldn't be enough, and the 600W version is still 140mm in depth & fully modular.

Thanks :)
