Hi,
My mums PC is an old office pc that she's had about 6-7 years, recently the thing keeps re-booting itself for no apparent reason, just at random intervals, the first time usualy after its been on for only a short time, and random times after that.

I would guess its a ropey old power supply thats causing this and wanted to replace it. Being a PC this old am I limited in choice, or will all current PSUs fit it fine? The hdd and dvd drive are all IDE.

I was looking at..

Or at least something resembling a PSU. Stay away from the cheap ones, you'll pay for it in the long run. Q-Tec PSUs are a good example, google for information on those and then wonder how they're still in business...

That's the thing you see, I don't want anything too cheap and nasty in case it just goes wrong again. I did see one in a competitor's website for about £20 so maybe go for that instead.

Thanks for your help guys!
