New PSU help

After my PC being "quirky" for the last few months, finally narrowed problems down to PSU, now at the moment i have a Seasonic 600W "SS 600HT".
But, this is the faulty one, anyways i was looking for a similar PSU, maybe lower wattage, and not too pricey (I'm a poor student!) But at the moment i'm just leaving my PC on, because once its off, its off for a looooong time!

How old is the PSU? You might be able to get it replaced under warranty which would be the cheapest option. If that isn't possible then a Corsair 520w is a great PSU for around £70.

Bought it Jan 2006, been faulty since i bought it really, but i just left my PC on most of the time so it didn't bother me... well and sometimes my 2nd HDD disappeared!

3 Year warranty (My S12 Energy+ is anyway) so you should be able to RMA it to Seasonic.

I probably could, but i need to use my PC a lot, so im not sure if i could spare it for the amount of time they have it away!

According to my manual, their turnaround is 7 days or less from them recieving it. Worth a go and could save you money in the end. Try buying a cheap or second hand one while it's away.
