I'm having a lot of stability issues recently, and I suspect they're all due to my ancient (~5 years old) PSU; a 700W OCZ. It's recently started restarting mid-gaming (5 minutes into Guild Wars 2, 10 minutes into Skyrim) and occasionally restarting whilst I'm just browsing! I've also had a string of HDD issues, with them disappearing and appearing, and requiring disconnect/reconnects to get them back again.

I used the http://www.extreme.outervision.com/psucalculatorlite.jsp calculator, which recommended 533W. As I'm planning to upgrade to an i7 in a few months, I thought I would try to future-proof this purchase a little, by aiming for 650W-750W.

Also, I have the Thermaltake HAF 932, which is huge, and currently have to stretch my power cables to their limit to reach the CPU power input at the top of the motherboard.

I'm currently looking at this : http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-044-SS&tool=3
I don't want to cheap out, but I'm moving house within the month, so I also have to be budget concious. Would love any advice you all can spare me!

I wouldn't buy the Seasonic. We have had several reports of the fan on that series being very noisy.

The Superflower suggseted above is enough for most single gpu systems and is a jigh quality unit. I can't help but feel it's overpriced for a mid wattage psu that isn't even semi modular, especially as it was £49.99 last week when it was on offer.

The Antec Truepower Classic psu's are very good. Unfortunately they are not modular but they are high quality Gold rated units built by Seasonic. The 650w is on offer this week at £60.95 while the 750w is £72.95.

One thing I have noticed is that none of the Superflowers are on this week only at the moment. If you can wait for the new deals on Wednesday some of them will probably be on offer. They usually are every other week.
