Hi guys I need a good quality psu for my new build cant decide which one to get.
I would appreciate your help. Budget 60-65 pounds max.

build specs:
i5 4690k + MSI z97m-gd43 + 1x8gb hyperx ram + evolv mini itx case +evga gtx 960 4gb

The Corsair CX series is a budget psu built down to a price and has cheap internals. As there is no CX530 I presume you mean CX500? It's only bronze rated and can only deliver 456w of it's power on the 12v rail. The Superflower is gold rated and can deliver 546w of it's 550w on the 12v rail and has a longer warranty. Corsair are massively over hyped.

what about be quiet l8 630w or 430w? (I know it's bronze but I never heard of super flower psu and have no idea on how reliable are they.)

I would need something preferably semi modular/modular as Im getting Aerocool Dead Silence case which is kind of small and not sure if I will be able to fit all of the cables.

BeQuiet are overpriced and their units are built by FSP or HEC. Both of them build poor to mediocre psu's for the most part with the odd very good one thrown in. The Superflower units are much better, they wouldn't have been recommended else. The pair of units you are looking at a not particularly good, only bronze rated, had mediocre reviews and have fairly weak 12v rails. A modern psu should be able to deliver all or near enough all of it's power on the 12v rails where it's needed. The L8 430w only has 396w across it's dual 12v rails while the 630w has a miserable 564w across it's dual 12v rails.

If you want a quality modular psu then the only decent 550w units that is in stock here is the Superflower Leadex gold 550w. It has bright white leds where you plug the cables in that cannot be turned off though.

My basket at Overclockers UK:

Total: £82.49
(includes shipping: £10.50)

Personally if it was me I would be looking elsewhere and buy either the EVGA Supernova G2 550w or the EVGA Supernova GS550w both of which are in stock at other places.

Super flower has 5 years warranty from what I can see. I think I will go for supper flower. However did anyone had a RMA with super flower if so how good is it their's customer service?

The G2 is made by superflower, the GS by seasonic. Both are quality units and RMA is with EVGA - I believe they now have a UK RMA centre. Really it comes down to personal preference and warranty length - can't remember how long it is for each!

The G2 has a 7 year warranty while the GS has a 5 year warranty. The G2 has a 550w 12v rail while the GS has a 540w 12v rail. The G2 550w got a better review than the GS 550w. It's not that often Jonnyguru gives a 10/10 in a review but that's what he gave the G2 550w. The GS comes into it's own if you have a small case though because it's only 150mm long compared to the G2 which is 165mm long. If it were me I would get the G2. Still don't understand why OCUK doesn't stock the G2 550w.
