Hi all

So I treated myself to a few new components and want to get a new PSU as I feel my current one isn't going to be upto the task...

My current PSU is a EVGA 500w White so really basic and cheap, the list below is the components I've ordered or am going to order in the next few days so I'd appreciate so recommendations please

Ryzen 3600 (ordering next week)

MSI B450 Mortar Max (Ordered)
Corsair Vengence 16gb 3000mhz (ordered)
Radeon RX5700 8gb Reference (ordered)
Kingston 480gb SSD (from current PC)
Kingston 120gb SSD (from current PC)

So what do you all think would be ideal, Upto £100

Thanks

I was considering the RM650 and that has a hefty warranty on it.. I'm not sure which Seasonic unit is decent are the core gold series OK?
I've got a focus 750 platinum picked it up when it was on offer from ocuk there was a 850 version on mm believe it's brand new rma replacement the primes are good but the corsair psu are good aswell

I'll probably pick up the Corsair RM unit as I've seen a lot of positive reviews on them...

What are the Corsair PSU's that people say to stay away from? Is it the VS and CX range

I'd go with one of these if buying specifically from OCUK:

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £201.04 (includes shipping: £11.10)

The RM is decent and does have a longer warranty, but the above both have better internals, all Japanese capacitors to be specific.

The RM uses lesser known caps from a Taiwanese company which are manufactured in China.

This is a decent resource: https://linustechtips.com/main/topic/1116640-psu-tier-list-40/

I wouldn't take it entirely as gospel but it's handy to keep book marked if you want to check info on a specific PSU.

Cheers for the input mate, very helpful... I has a Superflower unit a few years back, I must have missed that one when looking through... I will keep that link I'm sure it will come in handy for me

Thanks
